LEGAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT - ENTERTAINMENT LAW
Unpaid Position for Law School Students and Recent Law School Graduates
The company has several ongoing, unpaid semester positions for legal research interns to work
on informational products.
About the Position. Legal research assistants work on informational products dealing with film,
television, music and internet law. Candidates should have completed at least one year of law school and
have a demonstrated interest in entertainment law. Law journal, journalism, or other editing experience is
highly desirable. Benefits include (i) training sessions in areas of substantive entertainment law with
practicing entertainment attorneys and (ii) credit on publications and informational products released through
Sashay Communications.
Schedule. You should be able to make a commitment of at least 10 weeks for a
minimum of ten hours per week. You can complete many of the assignments according to your own
schedule and at your own site, however you must have some availability during business hours to attend
weekly meetings in Northern Virginia.

FREELANCE WEB PROGRAMMER
We are seeking a web programmer to work on the following projects.
- constructing a collapsible menu (for use in displaying books’ table of contents)
- constructing an online contact form
- integration of Miva Merchant e-commerce component with credit card payment processing gateway and
setting up other Miva Merchant e-commerce functionality
- providing technical assistance in the set-up of a blog, podcast, streaming online seminar, and RSS feeds
- recommending and setting up system for the tracking of website statistics
A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is a plus.
